In the early stages on the project, the Software Testing Academy’s Consortium met face-to-face for the first time for the project kick-off meeting in Espinho, Portugal.
All project partners gathered together in Portugal to define the agenda and next steps of the project in the beautiful city of Espinho. The meeting was a great opportunity for the partners to strengthen ties and discuss and plan the next steps to be taken to produce the first project outcomes.
4 Project Results (Rs) are expected to be achieved during the development of the Project:
- R1 Software Testing Educational Pathways for Newcomers
- R2 Training materials and resources
- R3 Online learning platform
- R4 Training courses
During this first Transnational Project Meeting, the action plan for each project result was presented. Timetables were defined, together with the activities to be carried out, deadlines and expected results. In addition, a Dissemination Strategy Plan and a Quality Management Plan were presented. In this way, all members of the Consortium had a better overview of the project developments that would take place during the following months.
The kick-off meeting was a great opportunity for the partners to discuss the project organization and plan the next steps to be undertaken in order to work on the first Project Result, outlining the innovative training model for newcomers that want to develop professional career in software testing, and defining the demanded skills and knowledge required by Software Testing professionals.
