About the Software Testing Academy Project
The Software Testing Academy is a 32-month project combining innovation and transnational collaboration. Our key goals include:
- Educational Pathways for Newcomers: Creating training models outlining essential skills and knowledge for a career in software testing.
- Training Materials and Resources: Developing engaging, hands-on content that adapts to individual learning needs.
- Online Learning Platform: Offering a flexible and powerful tool for personalized learning and collaboration.

Amaris Consulting’s Successful Pilot Phase
We are excited to announce the successful completion of the first phase of our pilot test, which began in the week of March 4, 2024, and concluded in the week of May 6, 2024. This two-month period was marked by the participation of a diverse group of learners, high-quality content delivery, and practical exercises that enhanced hands-on skills. Our pilot program showcased the exceptional potential of the Academy and its ability to produce job-ready software testers.

- Engagement and Feedback: Participants provided invaluable feedback that helped us refine our approach.
- Comprehensive Reporting: We are now developing a detailed report analyzing feedback, performance metrics, and curriculum effectiveness. This will guide us in enhancing our platform for future phases.
Career Opportunities and Success Stories:
One of the most exciting outcomes of our pilot phase is the high employment rate among our graduates. Over 50% of the participants were hired as junior software testers shortly after completing the program.
- Interviews and Hiring: In May, we conducted interviews with all candidates specializing in Agile Testing. The first hires were made in early June, followed by additional hires in mid-July.
- Future Prospects: We are planning further incorporations, with more candidates expected to join by the end of July and another potential hire in September.
- Success Stories: One participant has already secured a QA position with another company, showcasing the Academy’s impact on career development.
